Overview
This 2,5-day training provides an in-depth PROFINET overview. It conveys the technological foundation and explains aspects of the PROFINET specification using real-world examples.
On the third day of the training the exam to become Certified PROFINET Engineer (CPNE) is held. That day ends approximately at 2:00 p.m. The participant will receive an official certificate of PI International for passing the exam.
A large part of the course is dedicated to practical exercises such as troubleshooting and network decline.
A half-day exam is held on the third day of the seminar to become Certified PROFINET Installer (CPNI). The third day will end around 1 pm.
Participants who pass the exam will receive a certificate.

Learning objectives
After the training you will be able to configure and commission a PROFINET network, to perform acceptance tests and to identify and correct potential network faults. There will be a final examination at the end of the training. Every participant who passes
the final exam will receive an official certificate from the PROFIBUS/PROFINET International Trade Organization (PI International). The content of the course and the final examination have been approved
by PI International.
Target group
The training is targeted to control engineers that supervise, perform or maintain network configuration and commissioning of PROFINET installations, in addition to persons who carry out acceptance tests in the field of PROFINET.
Requirements
Participants should be familiar with the basics of industrial communication technology.
